KARACHI: With the commencement of the crushing season, the prices of sugar have gone down in some major cities of Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Islamabad.
After a crushing season. In Sindh markets including Karachi, new sugar stocks have been found lowering the price of sweetener and now sugar sells for Rs95-100 per kilogram.

In Hyderabad, sugar sells for Rs96 to Rs100 per kilogram. While in Sukkur and Gujranwala, sugar is priced at Rs100 per kilogram. Meanwhile, sugar is not available at service stores in Sukkur.
On the other hand, in the Lahore supermarket, sugar is found in the range of Rs95 to Rs110 per kilogram.
