Sindh makes booster volume compulsory for fully vaccinated people

However, Sindh Health Secretary Zulfiqar Ali Shah had earlier stated that vaccine loads were being exported to further control booster volume.

The Sindh government on Sunday decided to make a mandatory dose of the coronavirus vaccine after the discovery of a new type of COVID-19, reports the Daily Jang.

The Sindh Department of Health has announced that an encouraging dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be given to people who have been fully vaccinated.

Shah told Daily Jang that the decision to provide booster jab vaccines was made to curb the spread of the virus in the province.

“Booster jabs are currently being used at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center and Dow University of Health Sciences Ojha Campus but vaccination rates will be expanded across the province,” said Shah.

He further added that no charges would be levied on the management of the booster jab.

Shah urged people who had been fully vaccinated to get a booster jab and advised those who had not yet received the basic vaccine to be vaccinated against the virus.
